After a year and a half I've finally submitted some work! Yes, yes...lame. After intending to build my own website for the past two years I've finally decided to post here. I would really appreciate your feedback, honest and critical, as I begin to post more work.

I'm an illustration student at the Rocky Mountain College of Art and Design, on my way to graduating in one year - the larger reason why I've decided to give this a go. Like probably many artists on here, I'm realizing that my future as a professional artist can't depend solely on meeting the basic requirements of a curriculum, but must also derive from extensive work outside of a formal education as well. This is part of my effort to take myself somewhat out of the classroom and into a more public space, subject to the scrutiny and encouragement of everyone from amateurs to professionals.

Obviously, having a deviant art page isn't the magical formula to becoming successful, or maybe even coming into contact with professionals...but whoever you are, I appreciate your time, advice, and encouragement as you observe my work.
